Happy Birthday to MPAHS Class of 1972 Alumnae/Alumni!!!
Dear Classmates, this year, we're celebrating a significant milestone—most of us are or will soon be turning 70! It's a testament to our shared journey and the memories we've built together. It's a time when the wisdom we've gained through seven decades of life experience blends with a desire to make the most of every moment. That said, living for 70 years deserves to be celebrated with some oomph! In honor of this momentous birthday we need an epic celebration with a name to match...and so it shall be...
72/70 PIZZA LOLLAPALOOZA 2024
Members of the MPAHS Class of 1972 and guests are invited to:
The Village Restaurant, 236 West Main Street, Mount Pleasant, PA
Saturday August 31, 2024 from 4:00 - 9:00pm
The iconic Village Restaurant is widely known and acknowledged especially for distinctive excellence in making delicious pizza...and here's the good news: we've been able to secure a donated large pizza with one topping for every four guests in attendance!! To be clear, that means if four guests attend there will be one free large pizza with one topping of your choice...and if 40 guests attend there will be 10 free large pizzas available...and if 300 guests...ok, ok, ok...
Some important details for 72/70 PIZZA LOLLAPALOOZA 2024
For this event, please RSVP before 8-24-24 (one week before our party). Management at the Village has requested an exact head count so they can adjust staff if necessary. So, please RSVP as soon as you know you will attend. Thank you!
We will be sharing the Village Restaurant with other customers that evening who won't appreciate rowdy, boisterous behavior. So, fellow Vikings, it will be necessary to leave our helmets, shields and swords at home as there will be no barbarians to fend off. Thank you!
Drinks, salads and any other food besides pizza must be paid for by whomever makes the order.
This 70th Birthday Bash is not just a celebration of our past; but, more importantly, a chance to create some fun new memories together. As we move forward as septuagenarians the opportunities to gather become more uncertain...and therefore more cherished. I hope to see you there.
